Live whiteboard sharing without an account

Start a temporary viewing room from any local board and send the viewer link. Your committed edits appear automatically while viewers stay read-only and keep their own pan and zoom position.

A focused live-view workflow

One host controls updates

Only the browser that created the room holds the host secret and can replace the shared snapshot.

Viewers cannot edit

Recipients can pan, zoom, and present the live board, but drawing and board-management tools remain disabled.

No account required

Hosts and viewers can use the room link without registration, a team workspace, or an invitation flow.

Local copy on demand

A viewer can explicitly save the latest received snapshot as a new editable board in their own browser.

When a temporary live view helps

Remote explanation

Draw a process or annotate an idea while another person watches the board update.

Sprint review

Walk through a retrospective or planning board without granting editing access.

Tutoring

Reveal each step on an infinite canvas while the learner navigates the view independently.

Quick presentation

Share one link for a short session, then stop the room when the explanation is complete.

Live sharing questions

Does the viewer need an account?

No. Opening the viewer link joins the read-only room directly.

Can viewers change my board?

No. They can navigate the shared view and optionally save an independent local copy, but cannot update the host room.

What is stored during the room?

The room keeps the latest validated snapshot, a SHA-256 digest of the host secret, and its expiry time. It does not keep version history.

How long does the link work?

Until the host stops sharing or 24 hours pass without an accepted host update. A stopped or expired room id cannot be reused.
